# The best AI visibility tools in India, *compared honestly*

The best AI visibility tools for a brand in India, compared on the questions that decide the choice: which engines they ask, where they ask from, what currency they bill in, and whether the number comes with the fix and the plan. Nine tools: Oftheard, AITLAS by Shiprocket, Profound, Peec AI, Otterly, Scrunch, Jeevan AI, Semrush AI Toolkit and Ahrefs Brand Radar. Oftheard writes this page, so the comparison names where each of the others is the better choice.

## How to choose

- **Where the prompts are asked from.** The engines search with the location, so a tool that measures from the United States reports what an American buyer is told. For an Indian brand the prompts must be asked from India, and better still from the buyer’s own city.

- **Asked, or modelled.** Some tools ask the engines through their APIs and store each answer; others estimate visibility from keyword data. Only the first can say why an engine named a rival.

- **What comes with the number.** A share-of-voice figure is a symptom. The useful tools also say whether the crawlers can read your site and which pages to write next.

- **Currency and term.** Monthly in rupees, or yearly in dollars. For a company in India the difference is the budget meeting.

## The tools

### 1. Oftheard

Chennai, India · rupees, monthly · six engines · India on every prompt

AI visibility software built for brands that sell in India. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode as a buyer in India, from any state or district, and stores every answer with the engine, the model build and whether it searched. A 100-check site audit says whether the AI crawlers can read you, a sensor on your own site reports which crawlers actually did, and every session ends in a plan. Priced from free to ₹24,999 a month.

**Best for: an Indian brand or agency that wants the number measured where its buyers are, in rupees, with the fix and the plan included.** Not for: a global brand that needs twenty markets on one dashboard.

### 2. AITLAS by Shiprocket

India · free plan, then ₹999 a month plus GST · two platforms per self-serve plan · built for Indian ecommerce

Shiprocket’s AI visibility product, and the closest thing on this page to what Oftheard does. RADAR tracks how a brand appears across ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and Copilot; HYDRA writes the content meant to close the gaps and publishes it straight into WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Contentful. Built around Indian buyer journeys and the ecommerce and logistics market, with Shiprocket’s reach into Indian D2C behind it. No price is published: it starts with a discovery call, with a free trial offered.

**Best for: an Indian D2C or ecommerce brand that wants the pages written and published as well as measured, especially one already inside Shiprocket.** Not for: a brand that wants every engine in every scan, or prompts asked from one named district. ### 3. Profound

New York, United States · dollars, enterprise · many engines · global

The enterprise platform for answer engine optimisation, with the widest coverage of engines and markets, conversation volumes, citation analysis, agent analytics and a large research output that the engines themselves cite. Built for marketing teams at large companies, priced and contracted accordingly.

**Best for: a large brand with a team and a budget that measures many markets at once.** Not for: a small Indian company that needs one market, in rupees, this month. ### 4. Peec AI

Berlin, Germany · euros, from about €89 a month · three models per tier, all on Enterprise · Europe-first

A focused tracker for share of voice, sentiment and sources across the main engines, with country selection and a clean prompt-based model. Popular with European agencies; engines beyond the core set are add-ons.

**Best for: an agency that wants a clear tracker across several countries.** Not for: a brand that needs the site audit and the plan in the same tool, or India named as a market. [Oftheard vs Peec AI](https://oftheard.in/oftheard-vs-peec)

### 5. Otterly

Austria · dollars, from $29 a month · seven platforms, three of them add-ons · India as a country

One of the cheapest ways to start tracking prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with brand and link monitoring. Some engines are gated to higher plans, and location is by country.

**Best for: a small team that wants a low monthly price and a simple report.** Not for: measuring from an Indian city, or joining the answers to what the crawlers read. [Oftheard vs Otterly](https://oftheard.in/oftheard-vs-otterly)

### 6. Scrunch

United States · from $300 a month · seven platforms · enterprise and agencies

Tracks the brand across the full set of engines on every plan and, since joining Sitecore in 2026, connects the measurement to content operations in that platform. Enterprise pricing.

**Best for: a company already on Sitecore, or an enterprise that wants every engine covered.** Not for: a company outside that world.

### 7. Jeevan AI

Noida, India · US dollars, monthly · five engines · sold as global

Built in Noida by people who worked on AI systems at Meta, Microsoft and Google, and the one tool here that is Indian and still bills in dollars: free to start, then $49, $149 and $399 a month. It scans a brand across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode, generates buyer queries and grades the gap on trust, use-case fit, pricing, ease of use and quality. It positions itself as a global platform rather than an Indian one, with market pages for India, the United States and Germany.

**Best for: a small team that wants a free standing scan, and Claude covered today.** Not for: a company that wants to be billed in rupees, or prompts asked from an Indian district. Worth naming plainly: Claude is an engine we have wired but cannot yet ask, and Jeevan AI asks it now.

### 8. Semrush AI Toolkit

Boston, United States · $99 a month standalone, or bundled from $199 · five platforms · India selectable

An add-on to a Semrush subscription that estimates AI visibility from Semrush’s keyword and prompt data, with competitor comparison and sentiment. Convenient if the team already lives in Semrush; the prompts are modelled from search data rather than asked from your market.

**Best for: an SEO team already paying for Semrush.** Not for: a brand that wants the engines asked as its own buyers would, from a district. [Oftheard vs Semrush AI Toolkit](https://oftheard.in/oftheard-vs-semrush)

### 9. Ahrefs Brand Radar

Singapore · from $129 a month for five prompts, index add-on from $199 · seven platforms plus YouTube and Reddit

Brand mentions across AI answers built on Ahrefs’ index, with the same interface an SEO team already knows. Strong on breadth of prompts; less on why a given answer named a rival, and no site audit for AI crawlers.

**Best for: an SEO team already on Ahrefs that wants an AI mentions view.** Not for: the plan that follows the number.

### 10. Depra

India · from ₹1,999 a month plus GST · four platforms, daily · Hinglish prompts

The closest tool to Oftheard: built in India, billed in rupees with a GST invoice, and plain about what it does not track. Its platforms are the ChatGPT app, the Gemini app and Google AI Overviews, checked daily, and Perplexity, checked weekly, from a country rather than a city, with Hinglish prompts suggested when India is a market, a crawler checker and an action plan.

**Best for: a small Indian team that wants the lowest rupee entry and a daily line.** Not for: a brand that needs Google AI Mode or Claude, or the prompt asked from a district. [Oftheard vs Depra](https://oftheard.in/oftheard-vs-depra)

### 11. Paprik AI

India · from ₹3,999 a month billed yearly · ChatGPT only at the entry · seven platforms on Pro

A polished platform from an Indian company: full answers with the mentions marked, sources, an accuracy check on claims, crawler analytics and actions ranked by impact. The Solo plan asks ChatGPT only, twenty prompts; Pro opens any three of seven platforms for a hundred prompts.

**Best for: a brand that cares about ChatGPT first and accepts yearly billing.** Not for: a brand that wants several engines at the entry price, or monthly billing. [Oftheard vs Paprik AI](https://oftheard.in/oftheard-vs-paprik)

### 12. BeNoticed.ai

India · from ₹7,999 a month plus GST · five platforms, daily · Claude at the entry

An India-first tool that scans fifty prompts daily across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, with intent scoring, a content-gap ranking, and on the higher plans content drafted and re-scanned after publication.

**Best for: a B2B team that wants Claude from the first rupee and drafts written.** Not for: a brand that needs Google AI Mode, a district, or a lower entry price. [Oftheard vs BeNoticed](https://oftheard.in/oftheard-vs-benoticed)

### 13. SE Ranking AI Visibility Tracker

Global · $89 a month as an add-on, or SE Visible from $99 · five platforms · India in the free tool only

An add-on to the SE Ranking suite, or a standalone product called SE Visible, tracking Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity with an agency pack and an API. Its seven named markets are in North America and Europe; India appears only in its free AEO checker.

**Best for: an agency already on SE Ranking with clients outside India.** Not for: an Indian brand, since India is not a tracked market.

Claims about the other tools are from their public pages on 26 September 2026: pricing, product, sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt. Prices and features change; check the vendor before deciding.

## Questions people ask before choosing

**Which is the best AI visibility tool for a brand in India?**

Two of these are built for India, and they are built differently. Oftheard asks the engines as a buyer in a state or district you name, prices in rupees monthly with no contract, and includes the site audit, the crawler sensor and the plan. AITLAS, from Shiprocket, adds a sixth engine and writes and publishes the content as well, which suits a D2C or ecommerce brand more than a district-level measurement would; its price comes from a call. Jeevan AI is Indian too but sells globally and bills in dollars. For a global enterprise with many markets, Profound or Scrunch. For a European agency, Peec AI. For a team already on Semrush or Ahrefs, their add-ons are the least friction.

**What is an AI visibility tool?**

Software that measures whether AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews name and recommend your brand when a buyer asks a question, and which sources they read to decide. The trade also calls this answer engine optimisation (AEO) or generative engine optimisation (GEO) software.

**Do these tools scrape ChatGPT?**

The serious ones do not. They ask the engines through paid APIs with search on, or read the live results page for Google AI Overviews, and record the conditions of each answer. Oftheard stores the engine, the model build, whether it searched, the location and the language with every answer.

**Why does the location matter?**

Because the engines search with it. The same question asked from Chennai and from New York returns different names. A tool that measures from the United States is measuring what an American buyer is told about you, which is not the number an Indian brand needs.
