What an AI SEO audit checks that a classic audit does not
A classic SEO audit asks whether Google can crawl, index and rank a page. An AI SEO audit asks that, and three things more:
- Allow OAI-SearchBot and ChatGPT-User. Whether the AI crawlers are let in by your robots file, or blocked by a rule meant for something else.
- Serve real text in the HTML. AI crawlers mostly do not run JavaScript. A page filled in by a script reads as empty to them.
- Answer under the heading, in a short passage. AI answers lift passages. The answer to a buyer’s question should sit in the first sentence under the heading that asks it.
What the audit covers
The 100 checks are grouped the way they are fixed:
- Being found on Google: indexing, titles, descriptions, headings, links, speed on a phone.
- Being found by AI: crawler access, text in the HTML, passages that can be quoted, consistent descriptions of the business.
- Your location: the address, hours and map details in the markup, and whether they agree with the Business Profile.
- AI assistants: the files and markup an assistant reads to act on the site.
- Housekeeping: broken links, redirects, duplicate pages.
Each check says what it found, why it matters and the fix. The check reference explains every one.
What the audit cannot tell you
An audit reads your site. It cannot read what the AI assistants say about you, because that depends on other sites as much as yours. A clean audit means nothing on your side is in the way; it does not mean you will be named.
That second number comes from asking. A free account gets one report on up to three questions: where you rank on Google and what the AI assistants answer. The AI visibility checker page explains the two numbers side by side.
After the audit
- Fix what fails under crawler access and text in the HTML first. Those stop everything else.
- Rewrite the opening of your main pages so each answers its question in the first sentence.
- Run the audit again. What is fixed drops off the list.
- When you want the pages written and the results measured every week, a twelve-week campaign is ₹4,999 on Starter or ₹9,999 on Growth. See pricing.
Questions
Is the AI SEO audit free?
Yes. It needs no card and no account, and runs 100 checks on your site in about half a minute, each problem with its fix.
How is an AI SEO audit different from an SEO audit?
It checks everything a search audit does and adds what AI crawlers need: whether they are let in, whether the page has real text without JavaScript, and whether answers sit where a passage can be lifted and quoted.
Does the audit change my site?
No. It reads the same public pages any crawler can reach.
Which sites does it work on?
Any public website: WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Framer or a custom build. It reads the pages, not the builder.
