Oftheard vs AITLAS by Shiprocket, for an Indian brand

AITLAS is Shiprocket’s AI visibility product: a free plan, a ₹999 entry, scans rather than daily tracking, and a content engine that writes and publishes the pages meant to close the gap. Oftheard measures from the district on six engines and hands you the fix and the plan. Here is how they line up.

The short answer

Choose AITLAS if you sell on Shiprocket or want the pages written and pushed to your CMS as well as measured, and a ₹999 entry or a free plan to start. Choose Oftheard if you want six engines asked from an Indian district in every session, the ChatGPT and Gemini apps rather than two platforms per plan, a hundred-check audit with the fix for each, and your own writers acting on a plan.

The two count differently. AITLAS sells scans: a free plan with three, Starter with five a month, each on a set number of prompts across two platforms. Oftheard sells sessions: three a month on Starter, each on up to fifty prompts across five engines. Compare answers per month, not the headline price.

Where AITLAS is the better choice

  • You want the content written and published for you. AITLAS’s content engine drafts articles and pushes them into the CMS; the managed plans add outreach.
  • You are on Shiprocket already. Same company, same account.
  • You want to start free or at ₹999. Three scans on the free plan show the shape of the answers before any card.
  • You want Hindi content written. The Advance managed plan includes it, at ₹89,999 a month.

Where Oftheard is the better choice

  • You want every engine in every session. Five on Starter and six on Growth, against two platforms per AITLAS plan.
  • You want the district, not the country. AITLAS does not say where a prompt is asked from. Oftheard asks from the state or district you name.
  • You want to know why. Every answer is stored whole with the pages the engine read and the sentence that named a rival, so the plan says which page to write and where to be listed.
  • You want the site fixed, not only written for. The hundred checks and the code to paste for each failing one.

What each costs for a brand in India

AITLAS Starter is ₹999 a month plus GST for five scans of twenty prompts on two platforms, about two hundred answers a month; Growth ₹4,999 for ten scans of fifty prompts, a thousand answers. Oftheard Starter is ₹3,999 for three sessions of up to fifty prompts on five engines, seven hundred and fifty answers, with whole-site checks and the plan; Growth ₹9,999 for eight sessions on six engines, two thousand four hundred answers, with the crawler sensor. On answers per rupee they are close; on engines per answer and the audit, Oftheard; on content written for you, AITLAS.

How to decide

  1. Write down the country your buyers are in and whether you need a city or district. If the answer is India and a district, that decides it.
  2. Count how often you will actually read the numbers. A daily tracker you open monthly is a session a month at a daily price.
  3. Run the free check on both. AITLAS has its own free entry; Oftheard’s free plan runs the hundred checks and ten prompts on Gemini, no card.
  4. Read one full answer from each. The tool that shows you the sentence that named a rival, and the page it read, is the one you can act on.

Claims about the other tool are from its public pages on 26 September 2026: pricing, product, sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt. Prices and features change; check the vendor before deciding.

Questions

Is AITLAS free?

There is a ₹0 plan with three scans of fifteen prompts on two platforms and two competitors. Oftheard’s free plan runs the hundred-check audit on your homepage four times a month and ten prompts on Gemini once a cycle, with the answers stored.

How many platforms does each ask?

AITLAS names six on its home page and covers two per self-serve plan, three on the top managed plan. Oftheard asks five engines on Starter and six on Growth and Agency, in every session.

Does either write the content?

AITLAS does: its content engine drafts articles and pushes them to your CMS, and the managed plans add outreach. Oftheard does not write pages; it tells you which page to write, which site to be on and which check to fix, with the code to paste for the fix.

Stop guessing what the engines say. Measure it.

Oftheard puts your buyers’ questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google’s AI Overviews and Google’s AI Mode from India, then tells you who was recommended, why, and what to change. The site check is free.
