How to decide

Decide whether you want the number watched or the work done. A tracker tells you what the engines say; a campaign also fixes the site and writes the pages. If nobody on your side will write the pages, that decides it.
Write down where your buyers are. If they are in India, and often in one city, the Google ranks should be read from there.
Count how often you will act on the numbers. A daily tracker you open monthly is a monthly reading at a daily price; a weekly report with a short list of what to do next is twelve readings that each lead to work.
